Something is about to change at The Cubic
Content:
Change comes to everything, whether we love it or not, sooner or later. Familiarity doesn’t excuse stagnation. Innovation can’t take place if we don’t try something new!
At The Cubic, something is about to change. Something affects us on a daily basis. Something we will have to accept eventually.
For some time now, we have been using The Cubic Services to register for lunch. Are we changing fluXum? No, that’s not it. Keep going.
At our designated time slot, we arrive at the cafeteria, stomachs rumbling, mood low, energy nearly depleted. Are we changing the cafeteria? No, that’s not it. Keep going.
We start to catch whiffs of today’s menu. Is that pasta sauce? Is that an onion? Are we changing the food? No, that’s not it. Keep going.
But before we can race to the nearest tray, we look at the piece of paper in front of us. Ah, yes, must sign in first. This is when some of us may say, “Did I ever sign up for The Cubic Services for today’s lunch? I can’t recall. My name isn’t on here. Oh well, it doesn’t matter.”
Oh, yes it does. It does matter. It matters greatly. And this is what’s going to change.
Still, keep going.
We are introducing a revolutionary system that will slowly but surely replace those once-trusty pens and pieces of paper, the Kiosk. When we arrive at the cafeteria at noonish, hungry and impatient to grab some nourishment, we will be able to use our good ol’ badge to sign in instead. If you are registered and all your paperwork is in order, you may pass. If you did not register on The Cubic Services or if you forgot your badge, you may not pass. Go back from whence you came and try again tomorrow.
Okay, alright, don’t give us those eyes. You don’t have to starve. You may still grab a sandwich.
Not only will this change bring order where there once was chaos and innovation that improves the fine, yet ancient ways, but it will also result in less waste. So, rejoice! Change is coming.
TL;DR
Always register for lunch at The Cubic Services if you plan to eat here, and don’t forget your badge, or else we hope you like sandwiches a lot.
